WHO WE ARE
Strategic Crisis Simulations

Strategic Crisis Simulations is a student-run organization at the George Washington University affiliated with the Elliott School of International Affairs. Our organization focuses on providing interactive and engaging simulations on issues such as U.S. foreign policy, international security, intelligence, emergency management, and humanitarian assistance.
Founded in Spring 2009, SCS offers GW students interested in international affairs the opportunity to broaden their knowledge base, develop marketable skills for future employment, and build a network of mentors in the foreign policy and national security fields.

SCS works with institutional partners in the GW and DC community to develop simulations. In the past, we have collaborated with the Elliott School's Leadership, Ethics, and Practice Initiative, Space Policy Institute, and Capital Battalion ROTC. SCS is also the recipient of the George Washington University's 2018 Center for Student Engagement Learning Through Action Award.
